We met up with LTD from White Collar Crime last week and you can read the whole conversation over at the Blog, it’s well worth a read. Not your usual clothing brand owner, LTD decided to start his business after being released from Federal Prison in America with no chance of getting employment anywhere and deciding to make a change and give something back. From one White Collar Crime to another if you will. The clothing label, has chronicled the various societies that make up the American Prison system such as San Quentin Hard Ball and Pelican Bay Poker club but it was with the George Matorano and Coleman Creative Writing Tee they have made their biggest impression. George Matorano received Life without parole for a Marijuana charge 28 years ago and was set to end his days inside running a writing class for other inmates until White Collar Crime produced their T Shirt. The Tee was seen in George’s Cousins Restaurant during filming for Housewives of Miami and one of the wives happened to be married to Roy Black. Roy just happens to be a Criminal Defence Attorney and decided to take on the case. That in itself is a big deal and we’ve all got our fingers crossed for a happy ending. Oh and by the way, you’re hearing that here first.
